Privacy
Hanjie has no accounts and no login, so nothing here identifies you personally. This page explains the little that is stored, and where.
Puzzle progress
Your unfinished picture, undo history, timer, best times and streaks are kept in your browser's local storage on this device. None of this is sent to a server, and clearing your site data deletes it.
Visit statistics
We count page views and a few game events, such as a finished puzzle, with Umami, an analytics tool we run on our own server. It sets no cookie, stores no device identifier or IP address, and produces only aggregated counts. We also use Ahrefs Web Analytics, run by Ahrefs Pte. Ltd. in Singapore, to learn how visitors find these pages through search. Loading it shares your IP address with Ahrefs, like any request to another server; it sets no cookies and reports only aggregated visits.
Cookies
We set one cookie that remembers your language. It is not used to track you. The cookies page describes it in detail.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask what data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, or object to how we use it. Because we hold no personal data, there is usually nothing to send you, but write to us and we will confirm that in writing.
